Who We Are

Founded in 1999 by Scott VanPolen, Vanpolen Custom Cabinets has been producing high quality cabinets for clients throughout Michigan for over 20 years from our shop in McBain, Michigan.

Through years of hard work and superior craftsmanship as well as excellent customer service our company has grown into what it is today. In 2014 we built our current shop and, due to high demand we doubled the size of our shop to the current space in 2018.

Scott’s daughter Kendra joined VanPolen Custom Cabinets after graduating from Pittsburg State University with a degree in Architecture Manufacturing with an emphasis on woodworking 2020. With Scott’s experience and Kendra’s classical woodworking education, this truly is a homegrown multigenerational family business.

With 2500 square feet of professional shop space, a custom designing studio and 11 employees, we are ready to serve you and help you make your dreams a reality.
